Rick Kuula’s background includes 35-plus years of experience delivering business and information systems solutions. He founded Solutia in 1997 after serving as the Managing Director of GE Capital Consulting's 200-employee Twin Cities office (formerly David Mitchell & Associates). Prior to joining David Mitchell & Associates, Rick spent 3 years in Management Consulting at PriceWaterhouse Coopers.
Rick's expertise in developing IT strategies and assessing IT organizations has been put to use in many industries including finance, healthcare, distribution, insurance, retail and manufacturing. He currently is focused on building our Texas branches in Dallas and Austin. Rick splits his time between Texas and the Minneapolis/St. Paul branch.
Since the beginning, Rick's vision for Solutia has been to create a consultancy that offers innovation and value to clients, within a culture that values our employees career interests and provides a balanced workplace. In a Minneapolis Star Tribune profile Rick explained his vision for the company: My intention is to build a multi-branch national consulting organization with groups of partners in each location that share ownership in the company.
