HITRUST Certification and Compliance

Solutia’s consultant managed the HITRUST certification process and cross functional teams comprised of executives, business users, IT and security teams. The teams were located in multiple states across the US. Work included to scope and identify information security requirements adhering to HITRUST standardized assessment and reporting processes accepted and adopted by healthcare organizations. The team identified risks and performed risk impact assessments, tracked, prioritized and created risk mitigation plans along with documenting the remediation processes and procedures. Once the findings were mitigated, documented evidence was provided to the HITRUST auditors for approval and acceptance. We also created and implemented risk mitigation plans and gathered policies, process documents and implementation evidence for prospect RFP’s, assessments and client remediations. The client needed to retain HITRUST certification and also needed staff augmentation to complete and clear the increasing backlog of risk mitigation plans and gathering policies, process documents and implementation evidence for prospect RFP’s and client remediations. Our client needed a proactive, self-starter that would not require direction in order to complete the tasks at hand. Our experienced consulting helped our client with their HITRUST re-certification and cleared the backlog of risk mitigation plans, RFP’s, assessments and client remediations.
