Key Responsibilities:
Business Development:
Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through networking, referrals, and relationship building. Attend technology networking events, which may include evening hours, targeting IT decision-makers.
Client Engagement:
Understand client needs and help the consulting team build relationships and propose solutions.
Sales Strategy:
Coach consulting leaders interested in the sales process.
Collaboration:
Work closely with our consulting leadership team to ensure a unified approach to client management and business development.
Technology Team Support:
Align sales opportunities with the skills and goals of junior developers and graduates from our Developer Launch Program.
Qualifications:
Experience:
2+ years in sales, preferably in IT services or application development.
Technical Acumen:
Understanding of technology and application development processes is highly desirable.
Sales Skills:
Proven track record in business development through networking, cold calling, events, and consultative selling.
Communication:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with IT leaders at all levels.
Self-Motivated:
Focused, competitive, and resilient, with exceptional follow-through.
Team Player:
Able to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
Innovative:
Committed to continuous improvement.
Preferred Attributes:
Experience selling IT services, particularly app development, to both startups and larger enterprises.
Familiarity with sales training programs like Sandler Sales Training.
