Solution Architect (PowerBI and Databricks Specialist)

We are seeking 1 to 2 Solution Architects with expertise in PowerBI and Databricks to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in a large-scale project, involving the consolidation and migration of approximately 800 dashboards to about 500. This project is for a client who is new to these technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the consolidation and migration of dashboards using PowerBI and Databricks.

  • Ensure robust backend support, focusing on security, performance, and data access.

  • Manage data structures and queries efficiently.

  • Oversee the configuration and maintenance of the PowerBI Gateway.

  • Provide technical guidance and support in resolving complex issues.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and implementation.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in PowerBI and Databricks.

  • Strong foundation in backend skills, particularly in security, performance, data access, and data structures.

  • Familiarity with PowerBI Gateway and its configuration.

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Strong communication and team collaboration abilities.
